Last month, I photographed Pam and Brent’s engagement session and let me tell you, we had an absolute BLAST. When we first met, they told me they had their hearts set on doing their engagement session in the lush evergreen forests of Pacific Spirt Park near UBC. This was perfect because I walk my dog here almost every day and know the forest like the back of my hand.
Our session started off with a nice walk through the forest. I took Pam and Brent to a secret spot I know of hidden away from all the hikers and dog walkers. As you can tell front the photos, these guys were naturals in front of the camera and made my job so easy! It probably helped that the light was just phenomenal in the forest as well.
After our walk through the woods, Pam had a quick outfit change and we headed to Wreck Beach. She wore a knit sweater with a super cute striped skirt that really tied in all the fall colours together. We made it to the beach just before golden hour. It was unseasonably warm, but very pleasant. The hills were painted orange by the fall foliage and Pam and Brent had the warmest smiles for each other. We had some fun in the tall grasses by the marsh, then wandered over to the beach to enjoy the rest of this gorgeous autumn evening.
Pam and Brent, thank you so much for a wonderful session! I can’t wait to see the two of you again next year for your wedding!
