Krystal and Eric.
She gave him her number 7 years ago in a greasy bar. On this day, they tie the knot and vow to spend the rest of their lives together.
Our day started off at the Granville Island Hotel where Krystal and Eric got ready. Krystal’s hair and makeup was done by Coa Chiu of The Love Team and she looked absolutely stunning.
Krystal and Eric had an incredibly beautiful ceremony at Sutcliffe Park at Granville Island. They said their vows under a stunning arbour built by Eric and intricately draped and adorned with seasonal and locally grown flowers by Karli of Wild Rabbit Flowers. The sun was shining brightly down on us, but there was a nice cool breeze to keep everyone comfortable. Family photos followed their “I do’s”, then we were off to take photos with the bridal party around Granville Island.
Krystal and Eric had their engagement session at Golden Ears Park surrounded by trees, rivers and mountains so for their wedding, they wanted their portraits to have a bit more of a city view. I took the wedding party to the docks to get views of the cityscape as well as the bridges surrounding Granville Island. After that, we made use of the nooks and crannies of Granville Island and had some fun photos in the alley behind the public market. By this time, the wedding party had done their job so I dismissed them to the pub to grab some much needed beers. Meanwhile, I took Krystal and Eric on a tour of Granville Island to get some alone time!
After nailing every single portrait, we headed over to The Dockside Restaurant to complete the evening. As the sun set over the waters, my team and I said our goodbyes and offered our congratulations to the newly weds. Krystal and Eric, thank you again for a wonderful day and I wish you two the best in the years to come!
