Tyler and Kristin got married the week the forest fire smoke rolled in from the interior of BC. Everyone was worried about the smoke, but I was excited for it! The smoke resulted in limited visibility, but it gave EVERYTHING a beautiful orange glow. It was like shooting at golden all day long.
Their first look was at George Wayburn Park which was just across the street from where Kristin was getting ready. We could see Tyler and the boys arriving from the dining room window. As soon as Kristen was all done up, we were off for Tyler to have his first sneak peek at Kristin in her beautiful dress.
After the first look, we loaded up the Range Rovers, borrowed from Tyler’s work, and set out for a cruise to Stanley Park for more photos.
Ceremony and reception took place at Brix & Mortar restaurant in Yaletown. Tyler and Kristin wanted a fun and relaxed wedding to pay homage to Kristin’s Trinidadian roots. They even had someone come in to play the steel drums! We had an amazing evening listening to stories of Tyler’s childhood and EVERYONE got on the dance floor to celebrate the occasion.
